Los Garcia Mexican Food

We love Google reviews! We wanted Mexican food and we looked for something with good reviews and we found Los Garcia. The fish tacos and the carnita burrito was delicious! Great place to eat and Nacho was awesome, he recommended the entrees and we weren't disappointed.Thank you!!

Always love going to Los Garcia! Best churros in town! Also love every dish I've ever had here. I've NEVER been disappointed when I tried something new. Jose and Angie know what's going on when it comes to food! Whenever anyone is looking for a new place to try, I always recommend Los Garcia!

Since moving from Texas to Salt Lake City we have been searching for very good Mexican food restaurants, so it was nice to find Los Garcia. Our server was pleasant and made helpful recommendations. The street tacos were wonderful and the steak fajitas were tasty. As a bonus, the margaritas were good, too.

Friendly staff, fast service. Their salsa actually tastes like salsa and not tomato soup. Too many Mexican restaurants dull down the spicy flavors. You won't find that here. I ordered a spicy shrimp dish and it actually had a kick to it. I didn't even have to ask for extra spicy. If their flour tortillas aren't hand made on the spot, they're the next best thing. My son ordered a tamale and it was as good as the homemade ones we used to get from our neighbor. They have a decent selection of beer; I'm not a tequila fan so you'll have to look elsewhere for a review on their margaritas. I would definitely recommend this spot for some good Mexican food.

My boyfriend is convinced that this is the best Mexican restaurant in town. I did like their food too. And of course, gotta love the unlimited tortilla chips. It was a good experience for me. But perhaps, the place can get livelier.

I love this restaurant! They have great food, their menu is varied, The chef in that restaurant is a professional, I enjoy a lot trying all their food. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is efficient. I visit often this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

We decided to try this place while in the area. Boy were we pleased. We were seated immediately, brought water and drink order shortly after. Then they took our food order and had it out to us so quickly. It was not super busy. Probably because of the time we chose to go. But they were very quick. And the food was delicious. My boys got a bean and cheese and chicken nuggets. My hubby and I both ordered the smothered burritos and my mom ordered a taco salad. She never, and I mean never, eats the shell. But she ate every piece of this one. She said the flavor was so good. Now I usually judge a place on their chips and salsa The chips and salsa were excellent. Great flavor, home made chips and chunky, not runny salsa with great flavor and spice. A bit of heat but not too much. We will for sure make this a regular place. Possibly replacing our go to Mexican restaurants.Even though we have to travel to Sandy from West Valley City it’s worth it.
